Technical data

The cutting-die unit „DIN VDE 0282-10“ consists of a cutting blade, spring-loaded down holders and a replaceable nick blade. The cutting- & nick-blade is made of powder-metallurgic knife steel and thereby guarantees an extreme lifetime.

Testing the tear resistance requires an exact nick at a defined point on the specimen.

This standard has been replaced by: DIN EN 50525-2-21 (available on request)
