ASTM D624 C

  • High geometry stability
  • Small injury risk
  • Extreme service life

Technical Data

Tear resistance test according to ASTM D624 C for tear resistance measurements

The cutting die unit according to „ASTM D624 C“ consists of a cutting blade and spring-loaded down holders. The cutting-blade is made of powder-metallurgic knife steel and thereby guarantees an extreme lifetime.

The punching knife unit can also be equipped with a scratching knife (design like DIN ISO 34-1 B angle).

The blades are transversally sharpened on both sides, which results in vertical cut lines of an exact specimen cross section.
