The cutting-die unit „DIN EN ISO 527-2 Typ 1BB“ consists of a cutting blade and spring-loaded down holders. The cutting blade is made of powder-metallurgic knife steel and thereby guarantees an extreme lifetime. The blade is transversally sharpened on both sides, which results in vertical cut lines of an exact specimen cross section.

Note: Specimen type 1BB is, except for the thickness, a scaled down version of type 1B using a reduction factor of 1:5.
