Loop Impact - reimagined
In the original impact-testing process, 20 specimens had to be tested one after another.
Q-tec developed a new system using two specimen carriers, each holding ten specimens. Once the carriers have been loaded, all 20 tests are performed simultaneously. A sequential procedure was transformed into an intelligent parallel process with significantly higher specimen throughput.
From a custom solution to an established product
Some Q-tec products that are now available as standard originally began as custom developments.
One example is the WACU.S2A wafer cleaving tool, which combines precision mechanics, imaging, control technology and automated process sequences.
